In November 2020, during a time when the world stood still, Amir Bresler felt an insatiable urge to create. Having graced the stage for years, he had yet to share a complete solo album. A friend’s invitation led him to a picturesque village outside Tel Aviv, where inspiration struck. At the local auditorium, aptly named ‘The House of Arches,’ Bresler embarked on a series of collaborative sessions with some of Tel Aviv’s finest musicians, including keyboardist and producer Rejoicer, Yemen Blues frontman Ravid Kahalani, bassist Gilad Abro, pianist Nomok, and trumpeter Sefi Zisling.
For nearly a week, these talented artists gathered, diving deep into psychedelic jazz and funk, all anchored by Bresler’s signature polyrhythmic beats. The result? A collection of six mesmerizing tracks, each recorded live in a single day, encapsulating the spontaneous energy and tight grooves that emerged from their jam sessions. This album is a celebration of creativity and collaboration, making it one of the top psychedelic music albums of the year.
