Late in 2020, Amyl and The Sniffers teamed up with producer Dan Luscombe to bring their sophomore album, Comfort To Me, to life. Crafted during a challenging year of lockdown, this album showcases a deeper and more expansive sound. Drawing inspiration from Taylor’s rap idols and a variety of garage bands, she expressed, ‘I had all this energy inside of me and nowhere to put it, because I couldn’t perform. My brain evolved and warped, altering my view of the world.’ Comfort To Me captures the same vibrant wit, integrity, and fearless honesty that marked their debut, yet reflects the evolution that comes with time. As Amy puts it, this album is all about ‘raw self-expression, defiant energy, and unapologetic vulnerability.’
