Released on May 31, 2013, through Island Records, Settle is the groundbreaking debut album by brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, known as Disclosure. This album not only earned a nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards but also garnered a shortlist spot for the 2013 Mercury Prize. It was recognized as one of Rolling Stone magazine’s top debut albums, ranking 93rd all-time.
Upon its release, Settle soared to number one on the UK album chart, selling an impressive 45,000 copies in its first week and achieving platinum certification by the British Phonographic Industry within the same year. In the US, it topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album features hit singles such as ‘Latch’ (featuring Sam Smith), which peaked at number 11 in the UK singles chart, and ‘White Noise’ (featuring AlunaGeorge), which reached number 2.
To commemorate the album’s 10th anniversary, this special edition is pressed on transparent orange vinyl and includes four non-album tracks previously unavailable on vinyl, handpicked by the Lawrence brothers. Additionally, it comes with a unique 10th-anniversary hype sticker and a digital release of their iconic 2014 live show at London’s Alexandra Palace, marking its first-time availability across digital platforms.
