This remarkable edition of Original Sufferhead marks a significant moment in music history. Featuring the title track in its full-length glory of 25 minutes and 24 seconds, this reissue is part of the celebrated Box Set #5. During the mastering process, engineer Colin Young uncovered four minutes of previously lost material on the B-side, including an exceptional keyboard solo by Fela Kuti, which had been excluded from earlier releases.
The restored version showcases Fela’s innovative keyboard work, seamlessly blending elements of futurism and visceralism. This album was the first released under the Egypt 80 name following the disbandment of Afrika 70 in 1979.

A true gem! I purchased my copy online, and the experience was smooth. The lost tracks add a unique touch to the original album.
