This release completes the operatic triptych created between 1993 and 1996, inspired by the iconic films of Jean Cocteau. Following their celebrated recording of Les Enfants Terribles in 2020, they now unveil the remaining two masterpieces from the Cocteau Trilogy: Orphée and La Belle et la Bête. These works have been meticulously arranged by Glass’s music director, Michael Riesman, specifically for the Labèque sisters.
