Originally released in May 1982, Combat Rock stands as the final album featuring the legendary lineup of The Clash: Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, and Topper Headon. This special edition re-release offers a 180g 3LP collection packed with 12 additional tracks curated by the band. It includes iconic hits like ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ and ‘Rock the Casbah’.
After an electrifying 17-show residency at New York’s Bond’s Casino, The Clash returned to London, recording at The People’s Hall in the Republic of Frestonia. The album captures a pivotal moment in punk rock history, showcasing unheard, rare, and early versions of tracks, along with stunning images by Pennie Smith and a fascinating essay on the ‘History of Frestonia’ by Tom Vague.
